DANSCO COIN ALBUMS

Dansco Coin Albums are the preferred Coin Collecting Albums for collectors of United States Coins.. Dansco produces albums for every major U.S. minted coin including current types (Penny, Nickel , Dime, Quarter and the Small Dollars) plus all of the  non-current coins like the Morgan Dollar, Barber Dime, Walking-Liberty Half-Dollar and the full range of U.S. Coins collected by advanced collectors.

Dansco Coin Albums are produced of simulated leather embossed and foil stamped.  Each cover is embossed with the album name in bold gold lettering. Inside covers contain historical overviews of the coin and mintage figures for each production year. The center column is permanently riveted to the exterior binder and holds the pages in place by way of two metal post screws/nuts, which make page replacement easy

Added protection for coin albums and for the collection is offered by Dansco Slip Cases of matching simulated leather embossed covering over  archival, silver guard corrosion-inhibiting technology for added long-term protection.

The  album Pages are loose-leaf hinged pages. Pages have archival, silver guard corrosion-inhibiting ports that hold coins between acetate slides providing protect and allowing for display of both sides of the coin.  Pages are imprinted with identifying information including mint mark (when applicable) and mint years. Coins are placed in the Dansco coin album by pushing the top slide to the right edge of the page, inserting the coin and sliding the acetate sheet back in place.

Dansco Corporation is a small, family run business founded in 1937 in Los Angeles. In July 2019 production was moved to Sumas, Washington with production postponed a few months by plan and then the pandemic hit and the favored coin albums have become scarce to out of stock.

Reports from Dansco tell us that the company is currently in the process of rehiring with new social-distancing protocols that will allow for a small workforce over the first months of 2021with limited production during a transitional period.

iHobb.com still holds a small inventory of Dansco Stock, which are offered at our customary discounted prices while supply lasts.
